MiMa on my mind ... waiting for the summer

These sunny spring days make me feel enthusiastic and with a lot of willness to go to the seaside.
What makes me happy is the sun, the blue sky and the days that are becoming longer and longer.

I was walking in the street yesterday, imagining myself in different places, different moments and different seasons.
Suddenly the mini-vacation I enjoyed last year in September at the Adriatic Seaside resort of Milano Marittima came into my mind: the sea, the hot weather, the sand, the colors, the flavors...

Surely Romagna has played an important role last year: in July, during the #adriatictour, in September in Milano Marittima and Cervia and in October for the TBDI2013 in Rimini.

However, what came into my mind today was only Milano Marittima, affectionately known as MiMa!
I remembered strolling in the town center, the bike rides, relaxing gleefully on the beach of Peperittima, eating piadina and ice cream...

I remembered as well the friends who shared these relaxing days and the hotel that hosted me: the MimaClub SoleMare.

Thinking to SoleMare Hotel, what came into my mind was the room opening onto a terrace so wide that my first thought as I looked out at it was: "Wow, here's a place to have a party with 15 people!"

I remembered the marvelous breakfast room: I enjoy devoting time to breakfast when I am on vacation. That place, I must confess, made me feel in heaven, not only because of the excellent food but also for the peace and quiet I enjoyed in the garden.

I remembered the Restaurant: the variety and assortment of appetizer, the dessert buffet, the starters and the main courses of fish (masterly cooked) the red poppies on the wall and the joy provided by that spot of color as you entered the room.

The little flashbacks of that week end in MiMa allowed me to make nighttime and now... let summer come as fast as possible!!!
